Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography can be regarded as a leading approach for liquid chromatography. UPLC shows improved efficiency in speed, resolution, and sensitivity. It uses fine particles of less than 2.5μm, thereby decreasing the length of column, ultimately saving time and reducing solvent consumption. UPLC Systems take advantage of technological strides made in particle chemistry performance, system optimization, detector design, and data processing and control. These achievements have created a step-function improvement in chromatographic performance.
