An efficient and practical synthesis of six compounds of isooxazoline derivatives was achieved through cyclization of hydroxyl amine hydrochloride with α,β--unsaturated ketones (chalcones) using glacial acetic acid as catalyst under thermal conditions. These compounds were characterized by using elemental analysis, FT-IR spectroscopy and 1H-NMR spectroscopy
